An intermediary working on Bernd Leno’s proposed move to Napoli says he expects news ‘this week’.
Fabio Parisi claimed last week that Leno had agreed terms with Napoli, and the agent gave an updated on the Partenopei’s negotiations with Bayer Leverkusen for the goalkeeper.
“The deal is open and I expect news this week,” he told CalcioNapolo24.
“His release clause? We’re talking about a very good goalkeeper, so it’ll will be useful to hold proper talks with Bayer, which is always difficult.
“The two parties aren’t far apart, but there are still many things to discuss. Still, the starting point is good.
“Negotiations can start because the player has already said that Napoli would be a welcome club for him and there’s a rough agreement with the player, even if the issue of image rights must be resolved.”
