Juventus contact Ancelotti?

It’s reported Juventus have contacted Carlo Ancelotti about a return, but there’s nothing definitive at this stage.

The former Milan Coach spent two-and-a-half seasons with the Bianconeri, but was sacked in the summer of 2001 after failing to win any trophies bar the 1999 Intertoto Cup.

Carletto is currently a free agent after being sacked by Bayern Munich, and reports this week linked him with a move to Turin if Massimiliano Allegri leaves after this season.

“Ancelotti has been sought out by many clubs, even if not with definitive offers,” Alessandro Alciato, who co-wrote Ancelotti’s autobiography, said on Sky.

“It’s a suggestive hypothesis regarding Juventus. It would be a return, it’s an idea. There’s an excellent relationship with [President Andrea] Agnelli, and a good relationship with the current directors.

“The relationship with the fans is between bad and non-existent.”

Any move would be dependent on Allegri’s future, while Ancelotti has also been linked with Arsenal and Chelsea.
